By Amazon Customer Lane Austin a firefighter at Pride County Fire & Rescue would do anything for his firehouse, he even let himself get talked into auctioning himself off. Unknown to Abby, Jenna bought her Mr September who turned out to be, Lane.What Lane thought was a bad idea turned out to be one of the best things to ever happened to him when he got to know Abby. She couldn't fight what was happening between them but when Lane's past and an accident threatened his future, he fought for the woman who stole his heart.As always reading any book in the Pride series is a heartfelt warm feeling guaranteed. Catching up with old characters and meeting news ones feels like coming home after years away.RESCUE ME took my breath away, loved how two individuals who looked like they had nothing in common to the naked eyes were a perfect match and they did had more than one thing in common.Jill Sanders melt my heart with this book, if you haven't read yet please to so....you won't regret it, that's a promise.
1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Fun, sexy, and suspenseful By Nadine This was such a great read that I inhaled it, I didn't stop reading until I was finished with the book. Lane was a breath of fresh air, he's not your typical alpha male, he's a bit shy and a whole lot of cute. When Allison comes up with a bright idea to help the fire department to raise money, Lane doesn't want to do it but he knows it's for a great cause and since some of his other firefighter brother will be posing for the calendar as well he does it. I bet he didn't know what he was getting himself into when he said ok, because once she had him on the rope it didn't stop at the calendar!Abby is the new girl in town, she will be working for Todd Jordan at Jordan Industries. And what better way is there for her to get to know the locals but at a Fireman Auction, only she has no clue that is what she is doing because her cousin doesn't tell her until they get there. Since Abby recently ended a relationship with her finance she is in no rush to start dating. Well, Jenna and Mr. September have other ideas about that.Fun, sexy, and suspenseful are all words that I would use to describe this book. This was a great addition to the Pride Series by Jill Sanders
1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. this book has taken over as my favorite book in the series By Micky Cox I absolutely loving visiting Pride, Oregon in these books. However, this book has taken over as my favorite book in the series. You have a hunky fireman with the body of a Greek god, intellect and is a gentleman. You have a female who is not only pretty, athletic, strong and intelligent, but knows how to take care of herself. Toss in a great plot with unanticipated action as well as, some rather great sex and you have a book that you won't be able to put down! Kudo's! I'm thrilled that I was selected to read this book in exchange for an unbiased review since I had read all the other books in the series, I thought I would like this one....but it was even better than anticipated as it is now my new favorite in the series! I highly recommend this book, but if you really want to enjoy the entire series I would start with #1 and read your way through a wonderful town that is well developed with quality characters. You really won't be sorry.
