8 of 9 people found the following review helpful. weak H; undeserving H By Magz I did not like the heroine at all!!! I get the whole "stand by your man" & usually encourage it. NOT THIS TIME. They had only been together a few months, and he talked to her like she was trash. I don't care if "it was the drugs" which is a sorry excuse for your behavior or how you treat someone, especially someone you "love more than your own life". He treated her like garbage, and she let him. Even after he came back in her life "a changed man", he still acted the same, but with less venom. He automatically expected her to just forgive and forget because he was a grown man now. I guess I can see why he's think she'd cave so quickly, since she allowed him to treat her that way their entire relationship.

She dough and protected and forgave but sometimes there comes a time when the darkness drags you host and you have to chose. The one part I didn't care for was she seemed string but weak. She cried like a half of the book and I wanted to shake her and tell her to suck it up. She has a wonderful support system and Kayson needed to figure out his life. But all in all I enjoyed it. It leaves you with a hea and a tidbit of what to expect in Damon's book.
