6 of 6 people found the following review helpful. What a disappointment! By TinaMarie This book was fantastic until it reached 95%. I won't tell you what happens, but it's abrupt and anticlimactic. I would have given this book 5 stars had it wound down differently. I was left feeling frustrated, shocked, disappointed and dangling. It's generally a great read, but be prepared.
3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Not a good finish!!!! By Kindle Customer I loved this book right up to the end, which turned out to be a complete shock and ultimate let down. The end was not a result of the plot that had been laid down throughout the entire book. Now I can handle a cliffhanger, but the end to this book was not a cliffhanger. It was a end that left me saying, "Was that what really happened? Was someone dreaming? Are you kidding me?" I have enjoyed this entire series but Locke's story was not adequately finished. If there was ever a need for an author to add more to a story or reconsider the ending this is it.
2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. DNF By Maggie Kern I have enjoyed all of the Aces MC Series Books to date and I was looking forward to reading Locke's story. As a matter of fact about a month ago, I was remembering the snippet that was in the last book but could not remember the name so when I realized it was this book I was very excited to read it. I was enjoying this book as well, however after the midway point, there is a scene that as a proud owner, foster and advocate of pit bulls I could not continue reading the book.
