They're forced to kiss at a Christmas Eve party and the sparks fly from their. In ways they both never new would happen. Vincent is a very demanding sexual partner and wants Beth as his submissive. Will she accept and let him show her the ways to be a submissive? What will happen when their affair is discovered? Who will discover the affair? How will Beth's boss react to his secretary having an affair with his son? All time favorite author of mine and I hope yours too!!!

Gotta tell you, the series did not disappoint!Beth is a single girl with no family which means the holidays aren't usually her favorite time of year. She's forced to attend the company Christmas party due to her boss' absence, and to watch over his son until he get can there. She's always found the son Vincent attractive, but never really seemed like her type. One kiss under the mistletoe changes all that....One passionate night together unlocks her hidden desires, and Vincent's wish to control them. His pushing for more is pushing her away. She gets invited to his parents' for Christmas and accepts thinking he's gone back home, but at the last minute she finds out that yes, Vincent will be there.What ensues is nothing short of hot and intense, as well as dramatic. Not going to give too much away for this short read, but if you love a strong alpha bad boy, you will love this book. Quick, steamy read for one night!**I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review**
1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Very satisfying for a novella By Paula G. I usually like longer novels, but Ms. Jordan's novella is very enjoyable though susinct. It tells a complete story of two very likable characters, fleshed out enough that I cared what happened to them. As usual, opposites attract between a workng girl and a wealthy alpha bad boy. Unexpected, even unwanted attraction happens quickly via a great kiss under the mistletoe, and complications and misunderstandings ensue. The execution of the story by the author is much more interesting than my synopsis, mainly because of the surprisingly warm and assured interactions with Jake. He is a compelling guy, made more interesting by his penchant for kinky sex. I like the way Jake dominantly yet gently and kindly lures Bethany into the bdsm experience. By the way the sex scenes are very well written, exciting and caring at the same time.It appears Ms. Jordan's other books are also around 100 pages, which is fine because she does novellas so well. I hope she also pens some longer novels - I would like to see her expand her plots and character development.
