4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. Aria ' s story was phenomenal By Diane Norwood I dont post spoilers. I want everyone to find out what happens on their own so then, What can I say. Aria is a total badass with a mouth to go with it. She takes her job seriously but then you find out why she does what she does from past treatment. You can't help but love her. She says and does stuff we all wish we could at times.

By aschae Received an ARC in exchange for an honest review...AWESOME book! Just finished it in one sitting... as I think I have with all of TL Smith's books! I LOVED Aria and this book was so much more than I expected. Having seen bits of her in previous books I was so exciting to hear her story as this girl cracks me up... like truly had me laughing my a$$ off reading this. So many great interactions, great characters, just can't say enough... Mika was not only sexy as hell but a complete sweetheart, so in love with Aria from afar and he was clearly willing to do whatever he had to to win her over. And this girl was tough.. I winced reading parts and felt as though I was more hurt than she clearly did at times. LOVED this book and would highly recommend it!
1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Disliked heroine By romance4ever I disliked the story and Aria. I thought that I would warn up to Her. I thought that Aria would redeem herself or at least become a better person by the end of the story. I thought she would learn to love Mika like he claimed he loved her or love someone else besides herself. None of those things happened and because they didn't she and the story left a bad taste in my mouth. She had absolute no remorse or regret for kidnapping undeserving men and beating and torturing them to the point they broke and then selling them. No only did she not feel bad about it but she loved it. It sexually excited her and that did not change. At the end of the story she gave lip service to loving Mika but it was just meaningless words. All telling and no showing. A few chapters before she participated an orgy with him and his lover and then easily walked away after she got off while they were still going at it. Then shortly thereafter she went on a date during which after around 20 minutes asked the date if he would be willing to do it with her. She got bored when he refused to answer. Mika claims of loving her were no more believable but at least he showed emotional attachment to her even if it was a result of his obsession with her. I would be more likely to believe he loved her if he could kept it in his pants when around other woman. If nothing else I want fidelity between the hero and heroine after they get physical with each other. That did not happen here. It should not bother me that he didn't as it did not concern Aria in the least. He was shocked that Aria did not care that he had sex with other woman. He shouldn't have been. She was heartless and emotionally deficient. There is no way that I believe that they will stay together. She will never love him and eventually he will find someone who can and will. I would love to read that story.
