Davis Aways reading Keil and Delitzsch's work; particularly Delitzsch's commentary on the Psalms, which is very helpful if one is not familiar with the Hebrew itself. But coupled with that I have found Alexander's work very profitable in calling attention to specific nuances, which would be otherwise be easy to miss. A paragraph or two normally, very helpful and often enlightening.
