Maps range in date from 1500 BC to 2014 and cover places from Babylon and Egypt to the United States and the Moon. The high resolution reproduction of the maps is impressive, and I could actually read the Gettysburg battle map and follow the battle sequence. The history behind the first map of the United States, published in 1784, was fun to read, especially the part about Benjamin Franklin.
