There are no clear-cut heroes in Girl From Above. They’ve all made horrible mistakes, but I hope – and believe – that they are moving towards the better versions of themselves in the final installment of the series, which – unfortunately – isn’t due until next year.And why do I say unfortunately? Well there is the small matter of the cliffhanger of galactic proportions where the fate of the nine systems as well as one synthetic soul hangs in the balance. So bewarned, people, you will be left hanging. All in all, this book proves yet again why Pippa Dacosta has become one of my favorite authors, my only "complaint" is that I wish each installment had been longer. (I blame it on my Akil worship; another one of Pippa’s wonderful creations, who’s a pro in the greed department.)Overall rating: 4.5 stars.*I was given an eArc in exchange for an honest review.*
2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Just gets better By JANA GUNDY Pippa has done it again. She has made me love sci fi and want more! Caleb is the very definition of an anti hero but there is a small part you just have to love about him. 1001 or One is becoming more human but something is wrong and the good doctor can't fix her this time. This is the second to last book and I see where Caleb is changing, becoming who he should be and One is the girl to help him. We meet some past characters and some things are revealed that explain a lot. I can't wait for the finale!!!* I received a free ARC in exchange for an honest review *

By Megan Starkweather Thank you Pippa for the ARC copy in exchange for an honest review.Caleb is finally learning that sometimes he has to look out for others and not just himself. His heart grows bigger just in time to lose One again. I'm still too curious to not be excited for the next book already and it hasn't even been released. There is too much unfinished business. I loved it. Some questions have been answered and others have brought more. Plenty if emotional moments, with thrilling chases and killer fights. I expected nothing else.
