The characters are well developed and though the relationship develops quickly, the reasons are nicely explained. This book, however, has no reason to exist.The plot device of the hero hibernating for six months is ridiculous. He is not ACTUALLY a bear. He is also human. He has a seasonal job. He can get on a plane. (Both brothers are pilots.) And FLY to warmer climates! No hibernation needed!If the author had done even 10 minutes worth of research they would know about the three non-hibernating Alaskan Brown Bears that live at the San Diego Zoo. They are active all year round because It Doesn't Snow There.Read on my phone so I couldn't actually throw this book away. Wanted to.

The bear shifters are unique and their lives are controlled in a way that is totally unexpected. This is the story of Lena Rhodes and Jenner Silver, a bear shifter and a human that are on a search for how two very different individuals can find a happily ever after.When you are happier exploring and photographing animals in their natural habitat, it can be a lonely life. But at the same time, life is exciting when you travel the world submersing yourself into places few human eyes have ever observed. Lena Rhodes has slowly been making a name for herself in her field. Her latest assignment is to photograph the Alaskan brown bear in its wilderness home. All she needs is a good guide to get her there and back without becoming Grizzly bait and the man for the job is Jenner Silver. Lena was not expecting Jenner! 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Good reading! By Kindle Customer Nicely paced with interesting characters that are easy to like, I started and kept on reading until the end. I really enjoyed the story and the writer's descriptive ability gave me wonderful visions of Alaska. A lot of exciting, fast-paced scenes just had me turning virtual pages as quickly as possible. Now I'm waiting for Book #3...but I am very sure it'll be worth the wait.
