By Tatianna White 5 stars!I don't know how she does it, but Emma Hart has made each book in this series better and better. Tethered Bond was laugh out loud funny. With Noelle and Drake's continuous arguing, Mom and Nonna's constant bickering over store bought or fresh pasta, and, now, Gio, there were times that I had tears in my eyes.Noelle is the best at what she does. Everyone knows it. Which is why she keeps getting put on cases to help the Holly Woods Police Dept. She's starting to rethink that decision though. While she and Drake make a great couple, they don't exactly get along when it comes to work.As much as Drake loves his work, he finds it difficult to work with his hardheaded girlfriend and protect her at the same time, especially when she won't listen to him. All he can do is try to argue with her until she gives in (which is rare) or bribe her with cupcakes. Unfortunately, he's had to resort to the latter quite a few times.I always find myself reading entirely too fast. I tell myself to read at my normal pace, which is usually pretty slow, but when it comes to this series, I. Just. Can't. Do it. I'm sure I've said it once and I'll say it again - This is my favorite series of the year. You put me on a deserted island and I only get to choose one book, I'm choosing this entire series. You'll take me kicking and screaming without them. With it, Emma Hart has become one of my "stop what you're doing and read their new book" authors. She shows that she can give us an enthralling story, full of drama and laughter, sarcastic characters who will argue til the death, and a family that loves each other as hard as they hate. Even though I'm not constantly thinking about this story, it's always lingering in the background with the countdown until the next book in the series. It's just that good. By Sam_Shem If there is one thing that really stands out about this series, it is how quickly each book pulls you in. I'm talking hook, line and sinker from THE VERY FIRST PAGE!!! I always feel like I am living every situation, the characters are a readers dream and the story itself holds the intensity I love from a series. Emma Hart, is one of my top three authors, and there is just something so special about this series. I LOVE the direction Emma has taken the books so far and it is definitely up there with my favourite series of all time!Tethered Bond is book #3 in the 'Holly Woods Files' Series and if you haven't read the previous books in the series, you need to get on that...STAT!I love the creativity Emma Hart has used throughout the series, the mystery that is so capturing and even though I do like to play the Detective myself, I still can never guess what is going to happen.Once again, we are blessed with Noelle and Drake. The progression of their relationship, the banter and the connection that just melts my heart.Noelle, the badass, HILARIOUS, infuriating, sassy, independent, ballsy woman. She literally KILLS ME! If I could be any female book character, it would hands down be her!Oh Drake. Can this man get any sexier? Seriously! He is wrecking me for all other book boyfriends and I seriously CANNOT GET ENOUGH OF HIM! I love how he just 'GET'S' Noelle. He loves her crazy, and for that, I just LOVE LOVE LOVE HIM!The book is a delicious mixture of suspense, sass, seduction and suspects. But above that, you can feel the passion and soul that Emma Hart has put into this book with every page you read. This is without a doubt my favourite book in this series so far. Every time, Hart brings it bigger, better and so much stronger!Congratulations Mrs H, you have absolutely rocked this series with an outstanding addition! I cannot wait for more!

This is shaping up to be my favorite series from Emma Hart and it is because of the characters and storyline as a whole and not just for Drake & Noelle.Tethered Bond is the 3rd installment in this series and must be read in order to fully understand the Bond/Nash dynamic. They are most certainly a force to be reckoned with.Once again I was smitten with Drake and his adoration for his “crazy” Noelle. I get such visual images in reading the interaction between Drake and Noelle that it makes the book even more enjoyable. That smirk……swoon!Noelle….well she’s as strong headed and stubborn as ever but has started to realize that she may more than “like” Detective Nash. Her internal conversations regarding what she should and should not do when it comes to Drake are funny as hell.This time around the Holly Woods PD has a string of missing girls that turn up dead all while the town is supposed to be celebrating the town fair. There will be more suspense and intrigue. Drake and Noelle once again struggle to find balance between the job and their relationship finding that the lines still blur.There will be cupcakes….and lots of them. There will be angst, mystery, flirtation and of course some steamy sex. We of course catch up with the rest of the Bond family and Nonna. Oh, Nonna and her new companion were such a riot! It was almost as if he was there just to add friction to the already strained relationships that Nonna had within the family. But at the end of the day, they all love one another.If you are new to Emma’s work this is a great series to start with. If you are new to this series….go now and 1-click while it is on sale. You won’t be disappointed. I for one am glad that there are three more books planned for this series.
