4 of 5 people found the following review helpful. I like the first installment of the new True Blue Seals!!!! By INDYread I purchased the Anthology of Protect and Serve with several authors. My reason to purchase was to read Sharon Hamilton’s new series, True Navy Blue, however, there are other great stories in the Anthology.The Characters are very young, around 20 years old. I was not fond of Amy Dobson as she has self proclaimed as having a reputation of a lot of men and sex. But, perhaps that is the point... a character that is broken. I read a lot of romance books and this is the first with the female lead with this characteristic.I loved Zak Chambers. He did have a wild high school experience and Amy Dobson was part of that “fun” time. Amy’s father is the Sheriff of Santa Rosa, CA and was not fond of Zak.Zak had joined the Navy and came home before he was to start BUD/S. During this time, Amy was trying to get in Zak’s pants and did not stop until she got him. Zak left the next day to begin his life, he hoped, as a Seal. Zak is on a path of change for his new life and couldn’t be happier.Several months pass and Amy has moved to San Francisco as a Sales Agent for a high end Condominiums overlooking the bay. A terrorist ran from the scene stopped in front of the sales office and Amy saw him. Now she is in danger and she calls Zak for help.I read all of Ms. Hamilton’s Seal Series books, and love them. I love her writing style and her well developed characters, but I just am still not sure if I like the female character. But, just like real life, we don't always like some "real people", but that doesn't mean they aren't interesting and entertaining.
2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. A story about growing up and discovering love By An Avid Reader Zac and Amy have history - hot, steamy, frenetic couplings since they were sixteen. Hilarious pranks and interesting "saves" by her policeman Dad will bring a chuckle. Things have changed for both of them. This short novella is a peek at their antics, maturing process, run-In with a murderer, and ultimately their HEA ending - or perhaps a new beginning. It's a quick read, well written and entertaining.

Loved this story when I read it but then I listened to the audio version and I was blown away.If you like Seals and amazing stories than you need to listen to this one
