About the Author Robert Forbes serves as a company Vice President as well as President of the lifestyle magazine ForbesLife. After 25 years in New York City and six in London, he and his wife currently reside in Florida. It's more a history of the RAC scene and the bands involved than it is the skinhead scene. Although there are tons of first person/eyewitness accounts of gigs, everyday life as a skinhead, major fights etc. The history of Skrewdriver year by year is great. After all the endless books about the various different punk scenes that have popped up in the last decade, I was waiting for something about RAC. My only complaint is the last section about the American bands. It's almost an afterthought, only about 55 pages. Other than that, superb layout, great cover, loads of pictures, bands, flyers. Feral House is great, I have never been disappointed with anything they've put out. Thanks for having the balls to publish this.

Boring minutiae from a bunch of racists By Amazon Customer I was hoping that this would be more in the style of Lords of Chaos, however it is just a bunch of stories given to the smallest detail about gigs and how much they hate folks. There is only one chapter of 30 pages covering the scene in the US in the 600 page book that is at least twice as long as it should be.
