From the bestselling author of the Heller Brothers Hockey series, this charming holiday novella features one of the hunky hockey stars of the Chicago Aces. The Christmas season always puts a smile on Jenna McFadden’s face. Even though she’s bringing a boyfriend home for the first time, inside she’s dying to see Andrew. Years ago, when the McFaddens took the troubled teen into their home, Jenna had to keep her blazing-hot crush a secret. And now that he’s playing pro hockey for the NHL’s Chicago Aces, nothing’s changed. With his wide shoulders and taut muscles, Andrew’s the most tempting package in the house . . . one that Jenna’s dying to unwrap. Andrew Ross just can’t make a play for Jenna. Her dad and brothers wouldn’t approve, and he could never betray the trust of the wonderful people who treated him like family when he lost his own. That’s what makes the holidays so hard. Whether Jenna’s skating with Andrew on a frozen pond or sitting on his lap while he plays Santa, she’s pushing all their boundaries—and there’s only so much a man can take. Andrew knows that she’s off-limits. But something deep down tells him that Jenna’s heart is the one prize he simply has to win.Praise for Off Limits “Kelly Jamieson is my go-to author for hockey romance.”—USA Today bestselling author Jami Davenport “A sweet story with plenty of heart about that bad boy you always wanted, who couldn’t wait to have you too.”—Cecy Robson, award-winning author of Once Kissed“Off Limits has everything I love from one of my favorite authors: well-written characters, a hot hockey-playing hero, and heat. I thought thatwhile they liked each other they never got together before. I usually dislike reading second change romances because I feel like if a couplehad deep enough feelings for each other then with the exception of a few circumstances they would make an effort to stay together. That did not happen here. While they had a hot weekend together neither cared enough to be with each other. If Andrew wantedJenna enough then he would have maned up and not let his fear about how her parents felt about them stop them from being togetheron a long term basis. Instead he did not want to be with her enough and both went on with their lives. He slept with OW after being with her and I assume that she slept with OM too.I had no love for Jenna nor Andrew. I disliked how Jenna treated Jon, her boyfriend. She knew that she had feelings for Andrew but brought Jon anyway. She flirted with Andrew and visa versa. Jenna make very little effort to include him in conversations with her friends nor family. Jon could do nothing right and was made fun of by her brothers and Andrew. He was a nice guy but finished last. In this case not getting Jenna was a good thing. She did not deserve him. There was very little chemistry between them and their story was too short and boring. I will admit to skimming pages after 1/2 of the story. Just could not bring myself to care about the characters.

Love is the best Christmas present By cmoyer Before I give my full review my only complaint is that it was to short of a read even though it's a short novella I want more. With that out of the way I just want to say I really loved this book. A few months ago Kelly introduced us to the Chicago Aces and in this current book we meet Andrew who comes home for Christmas. Home for him is with Jenna, her brothers, mom and dad who took him in to live with them when he was a teen when his world came crashing down. Even as a teen, something had always drawn him to Jenna. But Jenna's brothers and father had let it be known that she was off limits. Which he still abides by today even though his feelings have never left. But when she comes home for Christmas with her boyfriend, he knows that nothing can ever become more than the big brother/little sister feelings.Jenna has always had a crush on Andrew growing up. Then one night while away at college that crush turned into love. Well for her anyway. Or so she thought. Why would Andrew love her more than just as a sister when he can have any woman he wants now that he plays in the NHL. While Jenna believes that Jon might be "the one" everyone in the family questions her choice. After a night on the town with her brothers, Andrew and her friends she hasn't seen in a long time, things aren't as happy as they seem to be with Jon. Now with him gone, Jenna can finally focus on the true love she has for Andrew although she also tries to deny them.Without giving away to much of the story I'm just going to say I loved Andrew. He's funny, lovable and has that thing where he debates with himself over his feelings for Jenna. Jenna is a great character. She's independent trying to make a name for herself in the business world and trying to keep her hot feelings for Andrew only to herself.I hope we get to read more about this sexy couple in upcoming Aces hockey books. While I have many favorite couples, these two might just top them all.

By Mignon Mykel Received a copy of the title in exchange for an honest review. So I wasn't the biggest Lovey fan, but oh my goodness, am I a Jenna and Andrew fan.Andrew has been part of the McFadden family for years, and the family actually took him in when he was 16 after his family lift crumbled apart. No one knows the true need of family like Andrew does, and it's a need that he's not willing to break up -- but he's had his eye on 'little sister Jenna' as long as he's known her. One weekend in college had them moving forward, but quickly Andrew was reminded of what he needed in his life, and he and Jenna agreed friends/family were what they were meant to be.Now it's Christmas time and Jenna's come home with a man -- must be serious, right? But Andrew can't help but pick out all the ways he's so wrong for Jenna. This was so fun to read. Partly because Andrew tried to hide, again and again, his distaste for Jon by playing the big brother role, but it's all in the looks, the touches... Jon's no fool. Now Jenna needs to determine what she wants -- but more than that, Andrew needs to determine what's more important, the only family he's known, or the chance with a woman he's wanted forever.I absolutely loved this story. The timing was a bit quick if you were just to look on the surface, but Andrew and Jenna have history -- familial as well as sexual, so this isn't a relationship they just jump in blind to. I loved the emotion, the chemistry... I just absolutely loved Andrew and Jenna (and they'd be surprised at who loved them together, too). I was surprised to find this to only be a "half" book; I do hope we see more of these two in the future (who's next, Duncan?! He needs a new lady, you know...).
