They are fun, sexy and keep me entertained until the last page.1. After the Kiss - 5/5After the Kiss was a beautiful love story that I fell deeply in love with. Julie has to write an article for the magazine she works for and Mitchell is set on winning a bet. What unfolds is constant entertainment that was funny and gut wrenching. Mitchell was control, sexy and a heart of gold.......for the most part. Be prepared for Mitchell to win your heart and leave you hot, flustered and fanning your face!2. Love the One You're With - 4.5/5 StarsJake and Grace are pitted against each other - They each have to write an article after each date to see who can read the opposite sex better. Grace is refined, sophisticated and from money. Well, after some of the stunts she pulls, I may have to temporarily revoke the sophisticated part ha. Jake Malone is alluring, magnetic and sexy as hell. He can play games with me anytime he wants to! The games they played against each other were funny and thoroughly entertaining! You could feel the sexual tension between them and I kept hoping one of them would fully drop the charade.3. Just One Night - 5/5 StarsAn adorable friendship to lovers story. When you became entangled in the heart of it all, it took an amazing turn into something that was raw and emotional. Anytime Sam and Riley were together it was fun, sexy and emotional. Their long friendship allowed them to know each other's faults and downfalls and that added so much depth to their relationship. Because underneath it all, they are good friends who care for one another. Their friendship always bordered on platonic but there was an underlying simmering of need and lust. The Trouble with Love - 5/5 StarsThe Trouble With Love was hilarious, sexy, heartbreaking, and addicting. Emma and Cassidy's past has been dangled in front of us in the previous books, but we never really knew what happened to them. Why it all fell apart. But what made this book so potent, was not only the fact that we already knew both of them, but the idea that they could have a second chance at love. There is something extraordinary in the ability to resurrect something that was demolished. To find hope that love still exists after the insurmountable happens. And Emma and Cassidy's tumultuous journey is exceptional. It was the perfect ending to the Sex, Love & Stiletto's series!

This series is incredible! I have read these books at a Starbucks in New York City, on a train from Center City Philadelphia headed towards the outskirts of the city, and at home in my most comfortable PJS, and discovered that there is no bad place to read a Lauren Layne novel. The Sex, Love, and Stiletto series is quick, funny, passionate, and reads like your favorite rom-com.AFTER THE KISS:Julie and Mitchell makes me wish I had an opposites attract relationship...immediately. Everyone loves the “butterflies stage” of romance, and this novel makes you fall in love with love, from the butterflies through the happily ever after.LOVE THE ONE YOU'RE WITH:Grace and Jake’s story is HOT. It is. The back and forth buildup, competitiveness, and chemistry between these two is so real, it makes you want to cancel all of your plans for the foreseeable future and read this book from beginning to end, and back again.JUST ONE NIGHT:Riley McKenna is the girl everyone wants to be, sexy, confident, and fun. Getting to see her vulnerable side is unexpected, but completely wonderful. Suddenly that “unachievable girl” becomes someone you just have to know. I just want to read Riley and Sam’s story over and over again.THE TROUBLE WITH LOVE:If you have ever thought about the one that got away – than this is the book for you. Emma and Alex are perfect for each other, and too stubborn to admit it. I started out of order with The Trouble with Love and was immediately hooked. I quickly went out and gobbled up everything of Lauren Layne's that I could get my hands on. This series is one of my favorites and each book was fantastic. I love that they are funny, sweet and sexy all rolled into a great read that I wasn't able to put down. I highly recommend.
