By VAP I Would have given a higher review- until I read the "follow up books"Suddenly the Main Female lead Alana- in the next book- turned from being white- with black hair - hell, I think it is on one of the opening 2,3 pages- to in Mafia Captor, being African American. PICK ONE. I'm pretty sure you can't change. Not to mention, ALL through the book they talked about how beautiful things looked next to her White Skin. Seriously.
0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Hot~Suspensful~Mysterious By Kimberly A superb start to series! A great hot Russian Romance. The book was enjoyable quick read about 120 pages. Featuring Alana as a main character and Vadim. Alana begrudgingly after needing money gets a job at the hottest club in city. Vadim a Russian mob boss owns this club and instantly sees her innocence so to speak and is attracted from day one. Alana plays slightly naïve in this book but had a backbone so it was a great combo. There is a great theme in the story dealing with kidnapping and a few other nice surprises but I wouldn't want to ruin this book by putting spoilers. I highly recommend this series to anyone loving Russian Romance ~ I would have liked a little more to ending but from what I'm gathering I will get more in book2. This book can be read as standalone no cliffhanger that leaves you hanging. Great job!

Overall good story, had a bit of an abrupt ending By Emily Heisler Vadim Volkov is a made man, he doesn't do relationships and keeps mainly to himself. As owner of one of the hottest night club around, he has seen it all and seeing the transparency in Alana Jameson has him fascinated by the beauty who is working for him.Alana does't want to mix business with pleasure but she can't seem to stay away from Vadim. As they begin to explore what they are coming to mean to one another, it is not met without some secrets that Vadim is hiding.Overall good story, had a bit of an abrupt ending. I liked that Alana had a bit of attitude, she speaks her mind and it catches Vadim off guard. Interesting characters in the book, look forward to reading more from this author.
