High sea hijacking at it's best!When nine Seals, their wives and girlfriend's go on a cruise, you would expect lots of fun and games, intriguing ports and lots of women. You'd never expect the Seals to end up uncovering unusual happenings and unsavory characters.What I most enjoyed about the book was the dynamics between the group. The friendship, love, respect and romance tied everyone together in a way I wanted to be a part of.My favorite part was at the beginning of the book when they are in Italy before boarding the ship. Team member, Mark Beale, is suffering a broken heart from losing a woman named Sophie to cancer. He doesn't know if he will ever recover. While sitting in a cafe he sees an Italian woman who flirts with him and he follows her home. She speaks no English. Her name is Sophie too.I loved their affair for an afternoon. It is quite moving for both of them. But Mark must board the ship with his team mates. Oh no...Lots of intrigue, surprises, and steamy sex. Seals...just the way I like em!Book Two: Seal My DestinyLuke Paulson is a warrior Seal suffering from PTSD. Recently back from deployment, his mind won't shut down from guilt, and sleep eludes him.Enter Julie who picks him up on a beach and rocks his world. They end up locked in a hotel room enjoying some pretty steamy passion, which I enjoyed. But for me it just went down hill from there.I got the instant attraction thingy and had no problems with that, it just seemed other story lines just seemed so contrived with the fiance, Kate's mother, and most of all Kate going back to work at her fiances winery like all was well and everyone just accepted it was over and OK.Anyway, I really like Sharon Hamilton's Seal books and I have read several. So don't let me throw you off completely. Tyler is a hunk of the first order!I received these three book copies in exchange for a review.

I enjoyed the open waters and cruising in the first book that was Mark & Sophia's story. Mark was in a bad place facing loss and grief when he spends time with Sophia before getting on the cruise ship. The unknown of who he is and who she is was an interesting turn in the story. The twist in the story was engaging as well. The second book was completely different but still challenging to read in it's own right. Luke had so much he was struggling with and Julie was the best balance for him even if he didn't realize it. I thought their story was a very good read especially since it hit on some difficult topics. The third one was Tyler & Kate's and was great. They went through such a whirlwind of meeting and starting their journey together. The challenges that they both faced to get back to each other gave the book a smooth flow of action and emotions that had me glued in the storyline all the way through. I am most definitely going to be reading more of the SEAL books in the future. I received a copy of this book in exchange for a review. But have since purchased a copy of my own. I love Sharon Hamilton's writing and can't wait to read more in the future.

About the Author John Albert Broadus (1827-1895) was born in Virginia and was educated at the University of Virginia. A Baptist scholar, teacher and preacher, Broadus was assistant professor of Latin and Greek at the University of Virginia and as well as pastor of a Baptist church. In 1859 he became professor of New Testament Interpretation and Homiletics at the newly founded Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and served as its president from 1889 until his death.

Anyone with an interest in homiletics either has read this book or should.If you're a layman who teaches a Sunday School class, buy this book. Your presentation skills and organizational ability will skyrocket. Your students will get more from the lesson, you will present the material in a more professional manner and you will be easier to follow.This book is helpful for anyone with a call to use the spoken word to advance the Kingdom of God. Highly, highly recommended.

It was the first book passed on to me as a young minister. I would suggest that all preachers read, and reread this book. This homiletic masterpiece is a must for all young preachers. As I first humorously noted in THAT text, I found Wesley's thoughts on predestination to be everything but calm. He undoubtedly, and in my mind, Inarguably tears it to shreds with his Biblical reasoning.A Calvinist's nightmare, Wesley is unapologetic about the logical roads that predestination leads to.. the biggest being that predestinations allows God to damn people and takes away from his love.Calvinist, Wesleyan, Arminian, whoever - you have to read this.One thing about this book - is that the FORMAT is sometimes very distracting. The best way I dealt with is, is upsize my text on my Kindle to large, and broadened the space in the margins as much as possible.

I don't know if that was due to this being a cheap scan, or a problem with my Kindle App (Windows Phone 8). Also, some portions are very tough to follow due to 18th century diction and vocabulary. However, this was interesting enough that I'm looking for an modernized version of this document.

Your first instinct may be to look up your own sign but I found that reading about each of the signs was fascinating.The second section of the book will help readers identify and utilize the special gifts that people born in each sign have and how they can tune into those gifts or talents to improve their lives.The next section explains how the signs relate to the four elements of fire, air, water and earth. This section will help readers understand the final section which is the most fascinating area of all: compatibility between signs. This is fascinating reading and as you read you will think of your current and past relationships. It’s fun, but you will find there is also truth in it and that makes for a wonderful, exciting page turner. This is one of those rare books you will want to re-read as new people cross your path and enter your life. It explains in detail how the people involved got into the situation they were in.I used to enjoy westerns but now all I want is the outback.The book concurs with other works of the time I have read. It is one of the few books I can say I found hard to put down.If I forget what visiting the Jungle in FNQ (Far North Queensland) was like or some trails in NSW were like or the lands at Gosford Sydney I only have to see the book cover out fo the corner of my eye and it all comes rushing back. Forget about painting a thousand words with a picture somehow this evokes sentiments that I doubt canvas would be strong enough to capture. In my opinion it is as powerful as 'Born under paperbark tree' is and 'For the term of his natural life' also is.

Set in the central ranges of New South Wales around the first gold rushes of the 1850s, it centres on the gradual disintegration of Richard Maston and his brother into cattle duffing, bushranging and bank robbery. Their father incorporates them into his own long criminal life and soon they are friends of the fallen English aristocrat known only as "Captain Starlight".Robbery Under Arms is a morality tale. It rails against criminality and exalts the virtuous life, contrasting the fate of the Mastons to that of their neighbour George Storefield who achieves riches and authority by steady and honest hard work. But it is complex enough to keep the reader very interested and there is plenty of action, suspence and a final twist as Richard Marston prepares for the gallows.

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. A smashing adventure story of life in early Australia By Shirley Schwartz Boldrewood was actually Thomas Browne. He took Boldrewood as his pen name. He was a very prolific writer from the late 1800's and early 1900's and he lived in New South Wales, Australia. Browne was a squatter, a stock-farmer, a police magistrate, a goldfields commissioner and a writer during his long and colourful life. This book is a good rousing yarn about life in early Australia, but it's more than that. The story is about an English aristocrat turned bushranger who partook in cattle-stealing and highway robbery. His brushes with the law, and the stories of death and murder is a classic of literature. Boldrewood's character of Captain Starlight was probably based on a real character that lived and committed crimes in Australia. His name was Captain Moonlight. Even Captain Starlight's two desperate accomplices were probably based on Moonlight's real accomplices. The book is a real page-turner and I recommend it highly. Boldrewood could tell a story!

About the Author After graduating from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1973, Tim Gratz practiced business litigation and medical malpractice for nineteen years before moving to Florida in 1993. During his student years, Gratz was very active in Republican politics, serving as Chair of the Wisconsin Teen-Age Republicans and later Chair of the Wisconsin College Republicans. In the latter capacity Gratz worked closely with Karl Rove, who was then National Chairman of the College Republicans. Gratz says his "fifteen minutes of fame" comes from his mention in the Senate Watergate Committee Report. As it happened, Gratz had been approached by Donald Segretti, a Nixon aide who was running a "dirty tricks" campaign against Democrat candidates. Segretti claimed, in "Mission Impossible" style, that he was working under the "highest authority" but that his superiors would deny any such authorization. Gratz was highly suspicious of Segretti. ("He was acting like he was James Bond, but he came across more like a fumbling Maxwell Smart," Gratz said.) He could not believe that any responsible politician would condone several of the activities Segretti was proposing, so he reported Segretti's approach to the Nixon campaign. According to the book The President's Private Eye, written by Anthony Ulasewicz, a member of Nixon's security team and the man who delivered bags of "Hush money" to the Watergate defendants. Ulasewicz flew to Madison, WI to investigate Gratz's complaint against Segretti. No one at even the highest level of the Nixon campaign knew of Segretti's activities until they investigated Gratz's claim and discovered that Segretti was in fact being run out of the White House. Mark Howell is a graduate of Cambridge University in Great Britain. He was a legendary figure in London’s paperback world before becoming acquisitions editor on the multi-million-copy selling Mack Bolan: The Executioner series (soon to be a major movie) when it was purchased by Harlequin Books to launch the action-adventure Gold Eagle imprint. In Key West, Howell served as senior writer and editor of Solares Hill during it its award-winning final decade, becoming a household name with his weekly Soundings column. It was while he worked at Solares Hill for The Key West Citizen that he began a collaboration with Tim Gratz that broke new ground in the history of the Florida Keys connections to the Kennedy assassination.

Little bit less then I expected.The first volume was useful, and I do love the idea of a series of short subject books, but this one seems over before you even start.Like my review on the other volume, it covers ground already seen in Noel Twymans' and Anthony Summers book. Larry Hancock is also mentioned.Hemming himself deserves more time than provided here, but It's a brief overview, just as the authors intended.I had major problems with the extra shots chapter. I don't believe CE 399 had Any connection to Kennedy.Here the writers postualte it fell forum his back during cardiac massage, not a new idea, just doesn't line up with the chain of command written about by many others. Tomlinson found a pointed bullet, not a blunt one.And I don't believe it can be argued that Kennedy's back brace stopped the bullet short. I believe it was only lower lumbar supportive.In any case, I wish these writers the best for what they have done. They cover the people in the first two volumes that are of most interest to me, the exile Cubans, Interpen, and Hemming's crew.

While some of the hacks are useful, the discussion uses a version of English that is very difficult to decipher. I found this one a real pain to understand what the author is trying to say. Please edit it for standard English and try again.

Made it the best birthday gift of my life By Ceida Uilyc I currently own a Nikon D2500, which was a birthday gift from my brother, which I'm completely an amateur too as it’s been 2 years since that epic birthday. Still choosing to call myself an amateur, I had not may tricks or even tips that people with a camera have. This magic book was my last birthday gift from my brother and I easily took the cue. Trust me guys, this book is a magic box of photography tips, hacks and techniques. I have discovered amazing techniques of using my camera effectively and like a pro. Thanks to the book, I also have the perfect accessories to my camera now, apart from all the thrilling ways to make an ordinary picture, one that rocks the Cannes!I just wanna add that the book was my real birthday gift or the messiah. :D

It is full of really great, easy to action short cuts to get you taking amazing photos in no time. The book is really clear and concisely written. It talks about each "hack", one point at a time. The hack is explained in enough details to make sure that you can fully understand what needs to happen. I love the hack of using pantyhose to create a filter on a bright sunny day. I cannot wait to put some of these hacks to use and see how amazing my photographs can be.

Remarkable as it may appear, there is not a State or Territory in our whole nation but has some chord that centers in Sangamon county. Many European countries might be included also. Thus it will be seen that the homogeneous character of our whole people could not be more forcibly illustrated than by this volume.It is my hope that it will be an educator, in suggesting the idea of how to arrange and continue a family history. There are family histories presented here that will be prized for many generations, and yet but few of them would ever have been written up by the families themselves.' It is surprising that there are not more families who write 11p their own histories. Family pride is commendable, and, viewed properly, should be a powerful stimulant to right living, but it can have no reliable foundation without written history. Let a man rise to eminence and all'are eager to learn something of his origin and history. I could not cite a more remarkable instance of this than has already been developed in this county, in the history of Abraham Lincoln. There are hundreds of families in the county from whom, to all human appearance, a great man is as likely to spring as in the case mentioned, and yet they have no family records, or if they do keep them, they only give dates without locating events. Hrvatin My relatives lived in Sangamon county Illinois from about 1853 until the two people that I was mostly following died in 1888 and 1889. They are not in the book which was amazing to me. So you can see I am very disappointed in the book. It is missing that whole family and the people that they married. A list of last names from the book would be good to have before purchase.

Also, each etude is printed on two pages instead of one, making them much easier to read. Pedal changes are included, in letters large enough to read from across the room! No other edition of these Etudes have the pedal changes written in. There is a companion Etude Variation with each of the original etudes that expand on the technical material of the original. One of the limitations of the original etudes is that they are very right hand oriented. For those, the Etude Variation puts all of the technical material in the left hand. For others, the Etude Variation uses much more of the instrument than the original. There is also 12 pages of text at the beginning that talks about the best ways to practice, pitfalls to avoid, and a description of the technical points of each etude and variation. This is the BEST edition of these great etudes out there. Terrific and fun way to learn technique.
